Education Director
All training and education in Saskatchewan and Manitoba is under the direction of Beverly Ashdown. Bev has operated a successful esthetics business for several years, and has constantly increased her knowledge over that period of time. Today, Bev continues to pursue higher education for herself, supported by, and provided by, Can-West Agencies Ltd. Working in the industry on a daily basis, has given Bev an opportunity to experience all of the challenges faced by estheticians today.
About our Courses . . .
These courses are designed to create professional standards for aspiring students. Your kit, for either the Nail, Manicure or Pedicure or Waxing Courses includes the materials required for your classes, and the practice you do on your own time. With these courses, you will receive an extensive, detailed manual for your future reference. You are also entitled to free technical advise by phone during the course, and afterwards as you make this your career.
Beginner’s Nail Technician Course – Nails 101
Over the entire course, students will cover anatomy, nail disorders, tips, forms and extensions, manual filing and shaping techniques, nail preparation, proper sanitation, and application of a gel system. All of our courses are available as “Private” courses. This means one-on-one training, more help on your particular needs, and continuous private interaction with your instructor.
